Tallegar Creek Causeway Upgrade – Works Commencing

Coonamble Shire Council advises that contractors will be commencing works at Tallegar Creek on Quambone Road (approximately 27km from Coonamble) from today as part of the Tallegar Creek Causeway Upgrade.

Council is partnering with Conseth Solutions and Conex Services to deliver these works. Auxiliary works will begin this week, with construction scheduled to commence 18 March 2026.

Once construction begins, the site will operate under single lane traffic conditions with traffic control in place.

Motorists are asked to slow down to the signposted speed limits, exercise caution and follow directions from traffic controllers to ensure the safety of both road users and workers on site.
