Coonamble Shire Council Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) - Have your Say:
Coonamble Shire Council is developing a new Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) to improve accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities over the next four years. The plan will focus on four key areas: promoting positive community attitudes, creating accessible and liveable environments, supporting meaningful employment, and improving access to services.
Community input is central to the process, with Council inviting feedback from people with disabilities, carers, service providers, and other interested residents. Feedback can be provided through an online survey, a printable form, or via phone or face-to-face consultations.
The initiative aims to identify local challenges and opportunities, ensuring the final plan reflects community needs and strengths. Survey responses will help shape the updated DIAP, with consultation closing on Friday, 5 June 2026.
